Clint and I used to rent Over the Top (a cheesy 80s movie) a lot. Recently, I found this movie again. I have great memories watching this with my buddy. I remember a quote the main character says - "The world meets nobody halfway. When you want something, you gotta take it." I think this an interesting statement. This is true the world won't meet you halfway however your friends and family will or even more than halfway. This is why friends and family are so important and I think 2020 helped slow the world down enough to show what is important
Anyways, it has been 11 years since the death of my friend but there isn't a day that goes by where I am so very thankful for the time he was here. He has met me halfway and more on many occasions.
