Most of the memories I have are of Clint and I on trips. I can rattle a few here, Washington DC, California, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Belgium, Arizona, Hawaii, Grand Canyon (Colorado), and of course Disneyland (California)...our final trip together. There were so many more (too many to name)...
I am remembering my friend today in Kauai, HI. While Clint was sick he always was asking about seeing, tasting, smelling, feeling, and hearing. He would ask about what I ate that day or what I did. I now take more notice on those 5 senses and try to enjoy them while I am here as I travel.
Here's to you my great friend Clint Layton. You are not forgotten.
I will continue to travel and explore until I arrive with you as Shakespeare said, "to that Undiscovered Country, from whose bourn no traveller returns."
